The Wellness Hub

Wellness is a Protocol.Not a guess.

A clinical library of stretches, recovery sequences, and daily protocols — curated by Dr. Ryan Budwany to keep patients moving long after the procedure.

Anterior Chain Mobility

The Camel Pose. Dr. Ryan's go-to reset.

Modern life flexes us forward — phones, desks, steering wheels. The Camel Pose opens the hip flexors, chest, and anterior fascia in one elegant sequence, unloading the lumbar spine and restoring extension.

  1. 1Kneel hip-width apart, tops of feet pressed into the floor.
  2. 2Hands on lower back, fingers pointing down. Lift the sternum.
  3. 3Drive the hips forward as you lengthen the front line — chin neutral.
  4. 4Hold 20–30 seconds. Two sets, twice daily.

Before you try this

This stretch is not appropriate for every patient. Stop immediately if you feel sharp, radiating, or worsening pain, numbness, weakness, dizziness, or any change in bowel or bladder control, and contact a clinician. Talk with a qualified clinician before starting any new exercise — especially after surgery, a fall, or a new episode of pain. This page is general education, not medical advice or a treatment plan.

"Restoring extension is one of the first things I look at in patients who sit all day. When it is appropriate for you, this is a simple reset I often prescribe — but it has to be matched to your diagnosis."

Recovery Protocols

Three pillars of lasting function.

Each protocol is paired with a Clinical Insight — Dr. Ryan's note on why this matters for long-term recovery.

Post-Surgical Care

The First 14 Days After a Procedure

Phased return-to-function plan after Minuteman®, SI Joint Fusion, or SCS implantation — focusing on inflammation control, scar mobility, and posture loading.

Ryan's Note

The first two weeks set the trajectory. Calm the tissue, protect the construct, and re-introduce load gradually — that's how interventional outcomes hold.

Daily Mobility

The 6-Minute Spine Reset

A short, repeatable mobility flow — hip openers, thoracic rotations, and posterior chain activation — designed for desk workers and post-op patients alike.

Ryan's Note

Most chronic back pain isn't about strength — it's about segmental motion. Six focused minutes a day restores what sitting takes away.

Nerve Health

Neural Glides & Recovery Nutrition

Median, ulnar, and sciatic nerve glide sequences paired with B12, alpha-lipoic acid, and omega-3 recommendations to support nerve conduction and regeneration.

Ryan's Note

Nerves heal slowly — millimeters per day. Gentle gliding plus the right substrates is the difference between months and years of recovery.
